The updated line of MR-3 electrodes

Dear customers, we are pleased to inform you that starting from June 1, 2025, three types of MR-3 electrodes will be presented in the wide range of Arcus welding materials, most of which are already known and successfully used by you:

MP-3

MP-3, the basic brand of this type of rutile-coated electrodes, remains unchanged. This electrode is manufactured according to GOST 1975 and has long been loved by those who are faithful to traditions and have extensive experience in welding. Welding with these electrodes is recommended to be performed on a short or medium arc length in all spatial positions except vertical from top to bottom. The MR-3 brand is a proven quality for decades, stable welding and technological properties and an affordable price.
 

MR-3 Optima

MR-3 Optima. The formulation of this type of welding materials was developed and previously used by us in the production of MR-3 Lux electrodes, which you are accustomed to buy until now in industrial packaging of 5.0 and 6.5 kg, it will remain unchanged, but will change its name.
Unlike the basic MP-3, this electrode has a rutile-cellulose coating with an improved component composition. The electrode has balanced welding and technological properties, allows welding in all spatial positions, including vertically from top to bottom. It is characterized by a stable arc and minimal splashing even at high currents and forced modes. This is the optimal choice for industrial applications where maximum productivity is important.

*The MR-3 Optima electrode has a separate certificate of certification of HAKC welding materials for groups of hazardous technical devices: GDO, GO, KO, MO, NGDO, OTOG, OHNVP, PTO, SK
 

MR-3 Lux

MR-3 Lux is a rutile-cellulose electrode with the highest quality components. It is suitable for welding in all spatial positions on any type of welding equipment. It is capable of operating in the entire range of welding currents and is particularly advantageous for the welder at medium and high currents, has a relatively low sensitivity to rust and primer, has stable arc burning and low metal splashing, has easy slag separation and reduced toxicity and smoke levels.Gorenje is a welder of high current. Ideal for beginner welders, adding a sense of comfort to the learning process. Vacuum packaging retains all the necessary characteristics of the electrode under any storage conditions and does not require pre-calcination when opening the electrodes, even in an environment with high humidity.

Thus, the updated MP-3 line now includes three specialized solutions: basic, industrial and premium.
